Why Offer Workplace Bullying Training?

Workplace bullying training is a key step towards creating a safer, more respectful workplace, because it helps:

Workplace bullying prevention is a strategic investment in both your people and your company’s success.

Key Learning Objectives of Our Workplace Bullying Programme

Our training is built around five essential learning goals:

  1. Defining workplace bullying: your team will develop a clear, practical understanding of what workplace bullying is, along with its specific characteristics and its impact on both targeted employees and overall workplace climate.
  2. Identifying early warning signs: by learning to recognise subtle signs of bullying early, your teams will be better prepared to step in before situations escalate, helping to stop harmful behaviour before it takes hold.
  3. Preventing problematic situations: our training equips your teams with tools and strategies to defuse tension and prevent bullying from developing through effective communication and conflict management.
  4. Understanding the legal framework: participants will gain a solid grasp of workplace bullying and harassment laws, as well as the legal consequences for both the company and the individuals involved, thus underscoring the importance of compliance.
  5. Supporting colleagues: your teams will learn best practices for listening, responding, and supporting a colleague experiencing bullying, creating a more caring, responsive work environment.

A Three-Phase Learning Experience

Phase 1: Immersion Module

Learners begin with a powerful VR experience, stepping into the roles of both a manager and an employee at a large company. As pressure mounts, team dynamics shift and bullying starts to emerge. This immersive scenario gives learners a firsthand look at how bullying unfolds and feels in real time. By combining emotional impact with perspective-shifting, this experience fosters empathy and a deeper understanding of what targeted employees go through.

Still in VR, learners are guided through a step-by-step breakdown of the experience. This module explains how to identify signs of bullying and equips participants with strategies to respond effectively. Through practical advice and strategies, the module turns emotional insight into practical action. Anonymous quizzes help assess knowledge retention and offer a valuable snapshot of your company’s workplace culture.

To close the session, learners are invited to join a facilitated group discussion, if they wish. This space allows participants to share thoughts, ask questions, and reflect on the training. It’s an opportunity to deepen understanding, connect it to your company’s reality, and foster a culture of mutual support.

What Our VR Workplace Bullying Training Brings to the Table

Multi-Sensory Immersion

Our unique approach uses VR to immerse learners in real-world bullying scenarios, helping them grasp both the subtle dynamics and emotional impact of bullying. This experiential method fosters empathy and boosts retention. Thanks to high-quality audio and filmmaking, each scenario feels authentic and memorable and turns emotional engagement into real-life skills.

At Reverto, we understand the time constraints of today's workplace. That’s why our training sessions are optimised to fit easily into busy schedules. Each 15-minute session allows you to train your teams without disrupting their workday or compromising productivity. Unlike traditional formats, our VR training requires minimal setup and resources, making it a practical, cost-effective prevention tool.

Each of our training modules is rigorously evaluated to measure real-world effectiveness. In 2023 alone, 1,808 participants completed our Workplace Bullying Training:

  • Before the experience, only 31.0% knew how to respond to a bullying situation. After the experience, 88.0% knew how to handle and de-escalate a bullying situation.
  • Before the experience, only 25.7% knew the designated contact persons. After the experience, 84.3% knew where to find help.
  • Before the experience, only 18.8% knew the legal framework. After the experience, 63.6% understood the laws and potential sanctions.

These results show what’s possible. By giving your teams the tools and knowledge to recognise and address workplace bullying, you help foster a safer, healthier, and more respectful culture across your organisation.
