At Reverto, we believe a training programme’s effectiveness should be backed by clear, measurable results. That’s why we’ve developed a rigorous method to assess the immediate impact of our VR experiences by evaluating what participants understand, retain, and reflect on after completing a module.

What We Measure After the VR Experience

Each of our modules includes a short quiz that allows participants to test their understanding of the key takeaways from the experience, such as recognising harassment, distinguishing sexism from discrimination, or identifying implicit bias.

These quizzes are also designed to challenge stereotypes and encourage personal reflection. They help each learner question their assumptions and clarify any gray areas, in a non-judgemental, supportive way.

In addition to individual learning, these anonymous responses serve as a barometer for your organisation’s current climate. They highlight areas of concern, misunderstanding, or tension within a given group, without singling out individuals or assigning blame.

After compiling and analysing all quiz data, we provide a clear, actionable report that offers an accurate snapshot of your teams’ understanding of the topic. It can include a wide range of data, such as the percentage of participants who can distinguish sexism from discrimination, or who are able to correctly identify a situation of harassment.

Measuring Lasting Impact

While we systematically assess the immediate effects of every training session, our offer also includes an optional follow-up assessment conducted weeks or even months after the experience. This allows you to understand not only what your teams have retained, but more importantly, what they have implemented in their day-to-day work.

What We Measure in the Weeks Following the Training

Using a questionnaire tailored to each topic, we ask participants what they remember, how their behaviour has changed, and which new reflexes or habits they have developed since completing the training. Do they remember the situations they experienced in VR? Has the training influenced the way they behave or react? Do they feel more confident speaking up or intervening in sensitive situations?

This approach allows us to measure not only the retention of key takeaways, but also how effectively participants have applied what they learned in real-world contexts. Delayed assessment helps reveal both the concrete changes already taking place and the potential obstacles that may be hindering further progress.

Immediate and delayed impact assessments work together to provide a three-dimensional view of your organisation’s climate: while immediate assessment offers a snapshot of the current situation, delayed assessment delivers deeper insights into long-term impact. This analysis highlights the lasting improvements brought by the training, while also helping you identify areas where additional support may be needed, such as a follow-up workshop or targeted training session.
